Park and Pajamas

Tommy visited the park with friends last week. It was coooooooooold outside…all the way down in the 30s! So we bundled him up in a warm hat and mittens (he’d taken off the mittens by picture time).

He’s in the red and blue jacket behind the play equipment. Friend Lainey is in the foreground.
The next day was pajama day at school. Here he poses in his favorite “Cars” PJs with his buddy Jake, and Snuggle Bear (whose name he has shortened to “Snuggy B”).

Smiles

Annalise showers us with big smiles more and more each day. We still haven’t figured out what triggers the beaming expressions, but we sure enjoy the show when she decides to give us a grin.

Here she relaxes in her high chair, though this isn’t the greatest pic…she really does like it! She sits with us at the kitchen table during meals and “talks” with the rest of the family about her day. This is also a favorite spot for her to sit while Mommy prepares meals, cleans the kitchen and washes all her bottles.

And here’s our little water baby. She likes taking baths, but doesn’t like the whole drying off/putting on lotion business. Fortunately Mommy and Daddy are speedy with the whole process so she doesn’t stay upset long. I love this picture because you can tell she’s finally getting some chub on her little bird legs! And here is my attempt at a self-portrait with my little girl. Hard to get a good shot, but worth a try.

I Like Pizza…Today

Tommy enjoys some pizza for dinner the other night. We haven’t been having the easiest of times with meals lately…he’s become extraordinarily picky. Sometimes even our old standbys of mac & cheese or chicken nuggets won’t cut it for him. He loves breakfast, though, particularly Daddy’s homemade waffles and yogurt. At least each day gets off to a good start!
